With decades of experience at the forefront of vision science, Pansell’s expertise bridges the gap between academic research and clinical innovation.

In addition to his academic leadership, Pansell is a clinical specialist in vision disorders and therapy, focusing on restoring functional vision for patients recovering from neurological trauma. What do you do to unwind?

Both hunting and spending time in nature are of great interest to me.

Where do you live, and what is the one thing you would suggest doing if someone visits your hometown? 

I live in southern Stockholm with my family. New visitors to Stockholm should take a long walk through one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, preferably during summer. Then, take one of many ferries out in the Stockholm archipelago.
